Before I tell you all about Harry, let me point you in the direction of a great resource π Some of my more observant regular readers will have noticed a new little box/picture/link thing on the right. You haven’t? Why, go look then!!!! The Bookshelf Muse is a great place for character junkies like myself…I shall be using their site, a lot….and I’m highly recommending it π
Ok, so back to…..
Harry, who has been removed because I want to use him for my Nano 2012 novel.
Sorry you missed it π¦
Awwww, poor Harry, seems like a nice bloke…..so what can he do to get himself a girlfriend?
Today’s prompt about small regrets turned into a full 500 word story about a woman and her grandmothers rug π Today’s prompt is arriving on Saturday which could be interesting π
I want a donut so bad!!

Aww! Well, maybe he can undertake a project or an adventure that gives him more confidence, and during that time he meets a nice girl. Great description of Harry! Sounds like an interesting character – even if he doesn’t think so.

That’s a good idea π
He would definitely be the type who would give up everything and end up overseas working for a charity π
Thanks hon

He sounds like an adorable guy π Maybe he can take his next girlfriend out to Krispy Kreme for their first date… I’m sure things would work out well! π

Lol….I’m not sure a guy scoffing donuts in front of me would be my ideal fist date, but, then again π

Tell him to try this: (First a straight face.) “The management have sent me over to ask you to leave. Your stunning beauty is making everyone else look so ugly. (Then with a smile) “Could I buy you a drink and keep you all to myself?” What do you think?

LMAO!!!!!
Have you tried that approach? And does it work? Lol

Harry sounds like a nice young man lol!
I assume he comes on too strong because of his insecurities? Maybe his mates should stop choosing for him xxx

Probably π
I was going to say I’ll have to dig deeper to find out why he feels so insecure, but then I thought, hmmmm…..it probably has a lot to do with the ex fiancΓ©e π¦

He sounds great except for the still living at home with his Mum bit. That’s a bit wimpy and not good for the romantic aspect of any potential relationship! I’m over from the A-Z Challenge. Nice to meet you π

Yeah, I totally agree, but I think if he lived alone he would be even lonelier π¦

Awww!!! Poor Harry. I hope he’ll be lucky in love…
I’m here via A-Z and as part of the Book Bunnies ; ) – thanks for popping in on our blog! And yes, I totally get the not-knowing-your-characters-too-well thing. I need to leave myself – or rather my characters – lots of room for growth and development and discovery, otherwise I get bogged down and can’t write at all. Which is why I like things like character interviews or the Truth or Dare thing…

hi Tessa, thanks for stopping by π
Lol….I have a feeling that if he makes an appearance in one of my stories he will be π
The trouble I have is that if I plan a character too much I feel, I dunno, constrained? Like if I’ve said they’re really shy, I have to stick to that. Most of the time I end up changing something about them anyway lol
