O is for…..

Olivia, who has been removed because I want to use her for my Nano 2012 novel.

Sorry you missed it 😦

So that’s Olivia 🙂 I’m not sure I really like her, she seems a bit, I dunno…. We have an expression here in the UK (or perhaps it’s just London) “up herself” lol. That’s kinda how I see her lol. Probably very blinkered and opinionated. So what can I do to spice it up? I actually feel like I want to wind her up and watch her fly *snigger* 😉

Today’s prompt about a meeting at a party ended up being a sweet little story about a guy and girl who both hate parties, meeting there and finding something to do that was far more entertaining (nooooo, nothing like that, I’m not into erotica lol). Today’s prompt is “Moving into the new house…” something I’ve had a lot of experience of 🙂

  1. Olivia sounds uncannily like a few of the ex-pats I’ve met at writing groups etc here in Australia. Despite the character flaws (we all have ’em!) I’m sure she would be just as wonderful as the friends I’ve made 🙂

  2. Spice it up, huh? Well, you’ve given her some strong personality traits so it seems like she can hold her own in many situations. And if she’s competitive and frustrated at getting ‘old’ then I’d say she needs to become involved in a love triangle! Haha, at least, that’s my gut reaction…

  3. Perhaps Olivia should have a ‘secret’ of some kind. Something or someone that gets her out of her comfort zone, so that she starts becoming the very person she seems to be judgmental of — I don’t dislike her but something a little naughty or out of the ordinary might spice her character up a bit. :).

  4. Actually, I sort of like her. You’ve described her so well, she’s real already. I’m trying to visit all the A-Z Challenge Blogs this month. My alphabet is at myqualityday.blogspot.com
