Y is for…..

Yasmin, who has been removed because I want to use her for my Nano 2012 novel.

Sorry you missed it šŸ˜¦

Ok, so that’s Yasmin……I’m thinking that something could definitely happen with the boyfriend, or, she gets so addicted to the money she’s making at the club that she decides to give up on uni? Choices choices lol

Yesterday’s prompt, about daddy’s pride didn’t really inspire anything so I’ll have a go at it tomorrow, when I do saying goodbye šŸ™‚

  1. I like how you build things in with animals. I’ve notcied that. It’s realistic that in these economic times people are going to struggle, and she needs the money to survive whether her family likes it or not. I work with two girls who work one shift, at a non-stripping company I should add, and then have to go work at an arena. It’s a tough call. Is it really addiction to the money, or is it needed?

  2. I like Yasmin already. Perhaps she could become more involved with the bouncer, talks herself into loving him — trying to change him — go through some close calls and then find redemption through an odd meeting from someone who bumps into her car as she’s leaving the club? Good character, as always!

    • Yeah, I’m definitely thinking the story needs to involve the boyfriend (the doorman).

Ooooo, perhaps she could bump into an old flame and fall in love but then the doorman kills him? *evil snigger* Or would that be too much? Lol

Thanks hon, I like her too šŸ™‚

  3. Yeah, the boyfriend sounds like he could turn into a hitter. That whole situation has the possibility of spiraling out of control. She sounds interesting.

  4. I think you strength is in your descriptive powers. Your way of painting the person that is central to your tale is very very good Vikki. Always, when I read your work, that’s what gets me.

  5. I like Yasmin, I think no matter what she should stay safe lol. The boyfriend should find a new job if he has issues with other guys looking at her. That’s the environment their are in. Maybe a bit of an episode of some description followed by a happy ending :o) xxxx

  6. I like Yasmin, too. Incidentally, the protag for my novel is a stripper and does it for money–but money is a tempting lure that skews logic/reason. So does the attention from men. I think you have a lot to work with here in terms of motivation.
