Yay, I’m an A-Z Survivor lol š
The guys over at the A-Z Challenge would like all the participants to do a reflection post. Well, Ive kinda done that already, when I did my Cast List post a couple of days after finishing.
But, what I didn’t talk about was:
What were the highlights of my April Challenge?
Ooooo, there were loads, every single day! It was a great experience, hard work, but fun! š
What i learned?
I learned to plan, schedule, and make sure I was ahead of myself for at least a couple of days. I started out writing the characters daily, but that was madness. I did however do the last one, Zac the dog, “live” as it just felt right to š
What changes i might make next time?
Hmmmm, that’s a hard one lol, to what I did, nothing, but to the A-Z Challenge? I tried my best to visit as many participants as possible, but I think I only managed about 700 in total. Next time it would be great if the organisers had the blogs separated into different categories, so that I could support my fellow writers š
What surprised me most?
That I stuck it out! Lol, no, seriously, probably how much people enjoyed reading my character sketches š
Special bloggers i met in my A to Z journey or a post/posts that especially moved or impressed me?
I met some lovely bloggers through the challenge, picked up some great new followers, and added to my own following list…..but, the blog I enjoyed reading the most throughout the month was Tale Spinning by Stuart Nager. I can’t wait to see Stuarts work on the Swan Rise Apartments in book form. If you get the chance, go and have a read before he removes all the stories at the end of this month. You won’t be disappointed š
So that’s definitely it til next year now…..how sad š¦ I hope I’m still around next year to participate š
Did you take part in the A-Z Challenge? and if you didn’t, will I see you there next year? š
um…wow…gosh…:::shuffling feet:::….Thank you so very, very much. I’m touched you singled me out like this. :::crawling under rock now:::: š

I might have to participate. Maybe combine it with poetry month and work it that way. You did a great job and I enjoyed reading your characters descriptions.

I admire you for getting it all done, and for providing such excellent characters. I tried to read everyone I could catch up on, and I liked them all. I hope you will expand some and maybe write some stories with some of the characters or poems. Whatever floats your boat as I used to say. Great job!!!! Pats on the back are well-deserved!

I loved reading your characters–even got a few ideas for my own work. I popped over to Stuart’s site and will return to read all his posts. I’ve checked out the A-Z Challenge–looks very cool. Next year? I’ll be there. Thanks, Vikki!

That’s brilliant Joan, that I inspired you, thank you š
I think Stuart is removing his stories at the end of May because he wants to publish them, thinking of doing the same with my characters.
Ooooo, brilliant….you have plenty of time to come up with what you’re going to do š

You had such a great cast of characters. I might (strong emphasis on MIGHT) participate property next year. We’ll just have to see what’s going on at that time next year. I’m trying to get a little more of a buffer going with blog posts also. Again, great cast!!

You did a fantastic job with that challenge, and I was continually impressed with all the characters that you introduced me to!
As for my participation in the challenge, as much Iike blogging, I don’t know if I could post every single day–especially since I really need to keep making progress in my revision. Maybe if I’m done by next year, I’d have some time to give this a shot. š
It sure is something to think about though.

Thanks Kirsten š
The only way I was able to do it was by using the schedule post feature. I had to keep ahead of myself by about 3 characters, as doing it live everyday got to be impossible lol. So if you do decide to do it, my advice would be to use scheduling š

Congratulation on finishing the challenge. During the challenge I didn’t visit as many blogs as I would like to but, cross my heart, I’m visiting every single one with the reflection post! I am so glad my journey brought me here.
