The To Do List 24th to 30th September

Last weeks to do list was kind of productive lol

1. Continue reading romance guides. That won’t be difficult lol Yep, I knew this wouldn’t be hard 🙂

2. Continue making notes on Sorrento Sunrise. Talked it through with a couple of friends, came up with some other ideas, but still stuck on the ‘black moment’

3. Sort out writing group stuff. We now have an email addy and have set up a FaceBook group… Maidstone Writers is nearly fit to go! All sorted, first meet is this coming Thursday!

4. Finish reading current book. This might be hard, but I’m aiming to read a book a week (ha bloody ha!). Hmmmmm, haven’t managed this. I’m reading Under The Same Stars by Tim Lott. Enjoying it, but I seem to only be reading in bed lol

5. Start going to the gym. I should really have done that one last week, but, to be honest, I didn’t feel too good (*whispers* women’s problems – TMI? Probably lol) Oh dear, this didn’t happen 😦

6. Continue with diet/healthy eating. Hate it, but gotta be done Yep, went well, but had a couple of bad days lol.

7. Keep up to date with daily prompts. Done, the desk has really helped!

I also managed to do an article for a fellow blogger which I only found out about mid week 🙂

Ok, so what’s on this weeks list…..

1. Finish Tim Lotts book.

2. Investigate writing Pod Casts. as suggested by Peter Germany in the comments on one of my previous posts.

3. Sort out books to take to Bookcrossing Uncon. I’ll be posting about that at the weekend 🙂

4. Place Nano order for ML stuff.

5. Clear inbox! this is desperate….it’s a mess, I’m so behind 😦

6. Update Blog Film Fest list.

7. Finish at least 1 of the romance books.

8. Try to come up with Sorrento Sunrises black moment.

Note that there is no mention of diets and gyms lol. I will still be trying to eat healthily, and still aim to get to the gym this week *snigger* 😉

What are your plans for the week?

Oh, before I go, anyone fancy some FREE Audio books? Check out this website if you do 🙂

  1. Working on what I hope is the final edit of the first book in my trilogy. Need to format and get them ready to upload for sale next month!!

If you need a beta or critique partner, let me know! Done my fair share if reading the Harlequin equivalents of a Boons & Mills 🙂

Good luck with the to do list. I’ve got a few days off to go have fun.

  2. I like that you have these lists at the beginning of the week to keep you targeted. I have seen another blogger do this and watching you both, it’s probably something that could work for me. Good luck with this weeks goals. Like you, I’m always aiming to eat healthier – but never quite getting it right!

  3. Wow – you’re so organised! I don’t have a list – now I feel like I’m slacking off 😦

I’m back at work now after my big road trip so I guess if I did have a list it would be – work, work, work… 😀

  4. Sounds like you’re having one of those clear up loose ends kind of weeks 🙂 I’ve got so many itty bitty jobs to do I think I could spend three weeks on them all and still not make much headway. Good luck with this week’s list and I’m looking forward to your posts x

    • Hi there honey, thanks for stopping by 🙂

He he he, ahhhhh, yeah, but that’s the point 🙂 By making it public, and knowing that next Monday I’ll have to post about how’s successful/unsuccessful I was, makes me all the more determined to complete it 😉

      Xx

  5. Decide what stories I’m going to put up to be published
Decide if I’m going to do major edits on some first drafts or grammatical stuff and just put those up as samples of my work.
Work out (something I haven’t done in 2 weeks)
Try write something on my current WIP.

Something on that list isn’t going to happen because I have papers to grade and a test to construct before mid-terms next week. 😦

Good luck getting your stuff done.

  6. Good goals. I’ve been trying to do a little yoga every night, so far doing pretty good. I am trying to finish up a few details on my memoir. Finish crocheting a scarf and a baby sweater. At least want to do a blog post…have been very slack on my blogs, but life has been very busy. So far those are my main biggies for the week. 🙂

  7. I still manage to go to the gym (just about).

There are a few good podcasts around. One I liked was 50 writing tips or something along those lines. I shall look it up when I next boot up my computer, and get back to you.

  8. I’m an inveterate list-maker, so I love reading other people’s.
I, too, am trying to read a book each week, but am a little stalled on A Tale of Two Cities. Not that I’m not enjoying it, it’s just not sucking me in… yet…
