This weeks six sentences come from a prompt I did earlier on in the week 🙂
Stuart had never really liked women, it all went back to his childhood, his mother. The contempt she felt for him was evident in her daily actions. The way she spoke to him, the way she looked at him.
As a young adult he was convinced that women were not to be trusted. That they would lie and cheat to get what they wanted. Numerous relationships he purposely sabotaged, incapable of loving, incapable of accepting love.

Definitely need a happy ending. Curious as to the type of woman who can get him to change his mind. Fun six.

Yeah, I’m thinking I’d like to turn it into a romance, but, as you say, the heroine will need to be pretty special, or pretty tolerant 😉

Sometimes a happy ending doesn’t fit. Maybe a fitting ending where the pain remains, but doesn’t destroy.

I totally agree CB, but, I just feel that Stuart really needs a happy ending 🙂

I agree with C B Wentworth. A conventional happy ending may not be a perfect fit here. Self discovery despite of the way he had until now perceived the world and women and accordingly, his relationships or his behaviour could be nice. What effect it had on his journey – the good and the bad? Gives more opportunity to go into the unknown.
Hopeful, happy and satisfying!
