Faber Session 16 – Postponed…So Instead…

Well, I kind of knew it was coming. The UK is finally getting a dose of the white snuff. And when it snows in this country everything comes to a halt…including writing classes because tutors can’t get there 😦

So no Faber post today I’m afraid, instead, you get…ME! Well, ok, my voice anyway lol.

I’ve been brave and filmed a short crappy video so that you can see my desk, my books, Treacle & Tigzz and hear my voice. I really need to practice doing this, so there will be more in the future, that’s if you want me to that is?

I may get more professional, on the other hand, I may not lol

Who knows, I might even do a Vlog one day *sharp intake of breath*

So my question is….oooo, look, a Poll, my first one!

*whispers* so there are 2 things in this post that could fail, so this last minute post could end up being a complete disaster….I’ll keep my fingers crossed 🙂

  1. Your cats are beautiful! We’ve got snow- (in a little village in Essex)! Loving the (broken chair) LOL, and your book collection, mine has grown so much I’ve had to store them in the loft until I move again! Enjoyed your vid. x

  2. Your post was so not a fail. Loved getting to see a glimpse of where you write and your friendly cats. Nice to know I’m not the only one who stacks books. I’ve run out of bookshelf space, and though I’m getting very selective on what books I allow in, I still find books I have to bring home with me. At home in North Carolina in the USA, we are very much like where you live. We just recently had snow and things very much come to a halt. We live in one of the warmer southern states and we’re not quite used to dealing with snow since we don’t get it too often. I’m glad it snowed though, it’s absolutely beautiful. I can’t wait till one more snow so I can make some snow cream…yummm. 🙂

      • Snow cream is the best! Get a bowl full of snow. Stir in a teaspoon or so of vanilla, some milk or half ‘n half, and add sugar to taste. If It ends up a little too thin, then I add some more snow. Eat quickly before it melts. If you freeze it, it never tastes the same. Making snow cream is my favorite part of winter. The other rule, but don’t know why, is it’s always said to wait till at least the second snow before making it.

  3. Loved the video – it satisfies my nosey side! Also love your cats – they looks so much saner and friendlier than my beast. Maybe I should video him attacking my husband (all poor hub has to do is walk past and he gets cuffed!) I like to picture where people are writing. I do hope you weren’t swinging back on that Audrey chair to break it… 😉

    • Awwww, thanks Bel 🙂

Ha ha ha, they’re only friendly when they want to be, but ok, not as bad as your “beast” wow!

I was I’m afraid 😦 I still have it, but you can’t lean on the back at all. Hubby’s gunna see if he can glue it.
