Good morning A-Zers 🙂
I enjoyed my day off yesterday, up to a point. Had a lovely meet with some Wrimo’s for a writing session (where i spent the whole time trying to find the right title for my newest novel – more about that after the A-Z Challenge) and then ended up in A & E (ER) with a contact lens stuck in my eye! LMAO 😉 I have to laugh or i’ll cry! This morning i look like someone has punched me in the eye and I’m squinting at everything. Supposed to be going to my writing group tonight, but we’ll have to see…double vision and driving don’t go well together 😦
So now I’ve had my little whinge, lets get on with todays entry. Its L day today…
…and my randome word today is lunch…
…..If you want to tread the story that appeared here you’ll find it in a recently published anthology of Mermaid Tales 🙂
Haha that’s awesome! 😀 x

Thanks Pauline 🙂 Ah, yeah, well, this has been pointed out to me before…when it comes to novel writing i definitely steer towards the darker side of life…..i don’t really know HOW to write humour 😦 This new novel is actually a ghost story lol xx

I quite expected L would be for Len’s Lens! But the two little eggs made a funny story. Of course you can do humour – just make the main character YOU!

Love your story (and will not give into temptation and make egg-related puns) . But poor you – I used to wear contact lenses and remember the extraordinary pain if I left them in too long. Take it, easy. You can get back to your egg-cellent writing very soon (Sorry!).

Tee hee! You can’t use one of them for the egg-wash – they have personalities now! Hope your eye is ok – that was one of my greatest fears when I used to wear contacts. Ugh! xx

HAHAHAHAHA This is eggcellent! Great craic; somehow you pack so much into something so short and there’s always a zinger at the end!
I hope your eye is feeling much better today. I’ve never had that happen but I’m pretty sure it’s been a close call a few times. Fingers are crossed that you can make it to your writer’s group tonight.
