It looks similar to a small silver pot which my husband gave me some years ago. Mine is hallmarked, but it has that old look, as if it’s been around the block for a while.
It’s a love pot: can’t open it very wide to peep inside – the love might escape! Has to be guarded day and night by fire breathing dragons to keep it safe.
Suggest you mount guards upon the locket. You don’t want to lose what’s inside.
Yes, it does, but it was only a cheap piece of junk jewellery she bought in a fashion shop. I think my photography skills make it look much nicer than it really is lol 😉
Oh that is very pretty, I imagine, that it’s been found by a young man in his back garden while planting some vegetable, on further reasearch he discovers it’s a period piece and has a sad history of heartbreak and missed opportunities. 🙂
