I didn’t have a bad week last week, even with the stresses of Christmas fast approaching lol
1. Finish Beta reading BN’s piece. Unfortunately, nope 😦 My reading has sunk to an all time low and I don’t know why.
2. Faber homework. Done!
3. Continue with Nigel Watts book. Still doing!
4. Edit and prepare The Last Word Cafe Synopsis for Thursdays event. Done!
5. Continue making notes on The Last Word Cafe and do a section in 3rd person. Still Doing. I spent a couple of hours last week working on a timeline lol.
6. Go through Faber notes re The Last Word Cafe. Done!
I’m going to be very easy on myself this week (especially as today is the last Faber session until after Christmas) in the run up to 2 weeks off! 🙂 Not 2 weeks off of writing but 2 weeks off from having a list of goals.
1. Continue with Beta Reading BN’s piece.
2. Continue with Nigel Watts book.
That’s it! Lol….I will make some notes on The Last Word Cafe if the mood takes me, but I’m not gunna beat myself up. This week is gunna be busy enough as it is, getting prepped for Christmas!!!! I still have a couple of pressies to buy, and some last minute bits of food. The plan is to be totally done by Saturday so that we can shut ourselves away in the warm until the 27th. Wish me luck!
So what are your plans for the week?
Cleaning the house, getting ready for guests and finishing the edits on my novel before my daughter arrives so she has my book to read while she’s here. Talk about stress!!! 5 days to complete it. this is more pressure than NaNo!. 😉
Ha ha ha, that does sound pretty stressy Jenny!
Good luck honey xx
Manage 5k words on my current wip this week and get through my 2 nights of work. Visiting the fam for Christmas so I’m hoping this all pans out. Good luck on your short list!
Thanks honey and good luck to you!
Have fun with the fam 🙂
Love your plans for this week, Vikki … keep moving forward one day at a time. I’ve sent my book to the first two readers on line, the third only works with a hard copy which she’ll get some time this week. With that and a few tweaks to the query, I am done with this for a while. Plan to take a couple of weeks to read over the next work I’ll be doing and start on that after the New Year. My plans for the next week are to catch up with some of my reading and do more photography. Have a great week !!
Thanks Florence, I didn’t want to commit to much lol 😉
Oooooo, that’s sounds like fun! I intend to catch up with reading over Christmas. Good luck honey xx
I printed out When Love Waits, one last hard edit before formatting to publish. Working on edits for When Love Lingers so I can send it to my beta. Looking forward to two four-days weekends off from work in a row-need to catch up on housework. And getting my 2013 plan laid out. 😀
Oooooo, exciting Melanie! 🙂
Ahhhhh, yeah, been thinking about my plans for 2013 *gulp*
Good luck honey! Xx
I’m driving a LONG way this week (about 3,500 kilometers) 😦 I hate travelling at Christmas…
Wow!!!!! That’s a LOT of driving honey 😦
Thank you! 😀
Very sensible not to have too many tasks for the next couple of weeks!
Vikki, I’ve awarded you the very inspiring blog award – more details over on mine.
I don’t wanna end up too stressy Patsy 😉
Oh wow, thank you sooooo much honey! Will come see 🙂
