Todays randomly generated word for the A-Z Challenge is…
Dance…
It’s day 3 of the A-Z Challenge which means it’s “C” day 🙂
I did my random word generating over a week ago now, and believe it or not I can’t remember the words I was given that are written in my notebook. Yesterday afternoon I looked at what word I’d been given for C and I slumped lol. A and B were inspiring, C wasnt. So yesterday evening I Googled the word….and there it was, staring me in the face…inspiration lol…let’s hope I don’t get done for treason 😉
Still on a high from yesterday, today’s snippet** is the first thing that popped into my head lol
My B entry for the A-Z Challenge is…well, let’s see if you can guess the word 😉
Good morning 🙂
The sun is just beginning to shine here in my corner of Kent (which always puts me in a good mood) and today is day one of the Blogging A-Z Challenge!
Prompt 10 of the 30 Day Writing Challenge is:
Find something that you wrote a long time ago and rewrite the beginning, giving it a different tone.
Original version (written May 2011)
On Monday evenings I always indulge myself by a visit to one of the local bars. At 45 ive done well, keeping my looks, and body shape. Im often told I could pass for 35 easily.
Reading Richard Skinner’s “Fiction Writing” i just wanted to share with you a small idea that I love 🙂
Prompt 9 of the 30 Day Writing Challenge is:
You’re sitting in a cafe when you look up and see… Write a fictional piece about what would happen if you saw a celebrity in a coffee shop.
Sincere apologies that I haven’t responded to your lovely comments this week. I gave up smoking on Monday so I’ve been avoiding the iPad (iPad = cup of tea and a cigarette) and just trying to occupy myself by changing my routine. So I’ve been keeping myself busy with writing, reading and magazine flicking. Normal business will resume shortly, I promise.
The title of this blog post is the first line from John Keats To Autumn poem, and will probably give you a hint to my response to the 7th prompt in the 30 Day Writing Challenge
What is your favourite season? Use vivid details and even include memories you have of that season.
Prompt number 6 from the 30 Day Writing Challenge
Start a piece with “I am standing at my kitchen window…”
The 5th prompt in the 30 Day Writing Challenge is…
Write about a dream or nightmare that you’ve had and turn it into a short story.
